Sniper MACD

WHAT IS IT?

Sniper MACD is based on the Zero-Lag MACD concept. The Zero-Lag EMA technique reduces the inherent lag of standard MACD by applying a correction factor that subtracts the difference between a single EMA and a double EMA, creating a more responsive line. Standard Zero-Lag MACD implementations fire on every crossover, including many false signals in choppy, ranging conditions.

INDICATOR PRIME IMPROVEMENTS

Sniper MACD builds a full signal qualification engine on top of the Zero-Lag core. Signals require the MACD to cross from below zero (bullish) or above zero (bearish), blocking mid-trend false crosses. A minimum histogram separation guard prevents micro-crossovers. An ADX chop filter suppresses signals in ranging markets. Histogram momentum confirmation requires two bars of building momentum before a cross fires. An optional EMA overlay on the MACD line adds visual smoothing. The 200 EMA trend badge marks the highest-quality crosses. Full regular and hidden divergence detection is included. Free to access.

HOW TO USE

Wait for a cross from below zero (bullish) or above zero (bearish) while ADX is above 20 and the histogram has been building for at least two bars. The ▲+ signal, confirmed by the 200 EMA, is the primary entry trigger. Divergence lines provide early reversal warnings. Works across forex, gold, indices, and crypto on any timeframe.
