Raw volume bars tell you how much was traded. They do not tell you whether that volume was buying or selling pressure, whether it was a genuine spike or just average noise, or whether the flow is building or fading. Premium Volume answers all three questions at once.

Under the hood it combines five separate volume components, directional volume MACD, OBV deviation, Money Flow Index, Accumulation and Distribution flow, and a volume spike detector, and blends them into a single composite reading. The result is a volume force oscillator that shows the direction and conviction behind price moves, not just the raw bar height.

When the force line is rising and above zero, buying pressure is dominant. When it drops below, selling is taking over. The signal line crossing the force line is your early warning before the move becomes obvious on price.

Key Features

• Five-component composite engine. Directional volume MACD, OBV, MFI, Accumulation and Distribution, and spike detection all combined into one normalized reading.

• Volume spike detection. Abnormal volume is detected using a z-score calculation and directionally weighted. A spike during a bullish candle boosts the bullish reading, and vice versa.

• Signal line crossover. A faster signal line sits on top of the force reading. Crossovers give early directional signals before the main line confirms.

• Consolidation filter. Uses ATR, ADX and volume ratio to detect low-energy ranging conditions. When enabled, suppresses signals and darkens the background during dead markets.

How To Use It

Watch the force line relative to zero. Above zero means buyers are in control of the flow, below means sellers. Use the signal line crossover as an early entry trigger and wait for the force line to follow through above or below zero as confirmation. The most reliable setups are when volume force aligns with a breakout signal from your price action indicators. A breakout on high force is conviction. A breakout on weak force is worth questioning.
